Villa Rental Terms & Conditions

BOOKING Tamarind Villa

The Villa can be placed on hold for a few days to allow you to finalize your travel plans and tie everything together. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once confirmed, all prices are guaranteed as per the confirmation email sent to you. Balances are due 8 weeks before your arrival date unless stated otherwise. Balances not paid will result in the booking being suspended, the dates reopened on our calendars and the eventual loss of any monies already.

(For reference, the deposit payment is 25% of the total amount and the balance payment is 75%

of the total amount).

AMENDING your booking during COVID-19

In the current climate up to 48 Hours before arrival. Changes to your booking regarding dates, duration etc, can be made free of charge for the first change. Dates can be amended up to 2 years from the original booking date and can be left open until you are confident with any new travel plans. Further amendments to your booking will incur an administration fee of $50 USD each time you change your booking. All changes are subject to availability.

CANCELLING your booking

• Guests cancelling up to 8 weeks before arrival will receive a full refund of any balance payment made*. Deposits will be forfeited.
• Guests cancelling up to 4 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the balance payment*. Deposits will be forfeited.
• Guests cancelling up to 1 week before arrival will receive a refund of 25% of the balance payment*. Deposits will be forfeited.
• Guests cancelling within 1 week of arrival will forfeit both their deposit and balance payment. No refunds will be given.

   *Excluding any Bank fees

Insurance

We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation or other travel contingencies.

Responsibility

Please be advised we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay at Tamarind Villa, or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Bequia. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of international flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment. Reductions in price will not be given for missed nights, late arrivals, changes in season or reduction of the nights stayed.
